The results from our poll of open source intelligence (OSINT) sources are in. We are calling this the “OSINT Top 10”, and have ranked them in the following order:

Our Top OSINT 10 was selected because: 

  • Nearly all of them apply to every entity that is connected to the Internet, or has a digital footprint.

  • Cloud and Code exposure have received (and continue to receive) a LOT of attention in the media and news.

  • The Dark Web is something people consistently ask about, but fail to truly fathom or grasp the concept.

  • Sentiment and Financials are concepts that people do not often associate with 'Security' and 'Risk' even though they are completely linked.

  • Social Media is becoming a core aspect of ALL businesses, as well as personnel of the businesses (employees, VIPs)

  • Search engine exploits are still present and are constantly evolving (as search engines index a bulk of information)

  • Archived web pages tend to reveal a lot more than people believe.
