Our Story
As an organization grows, more data is generated, distributed, and found on the Internet, domains or subdomains, cloud infrastructure, social media posts, news stories, the Dark Web, and more. Organizations face a challenge staying up-to-date with the latest developments, harvesting relevant data, and ultimately analyzing it all. We founded ThreatNG to empower anyone to gather, assess, and report on any organization’s public and open information with an online digital presence from a genuinely holistic outside-in perspective. This goal highlighted the need to bridge the gap between technical and business disciplines.
The mantra “Security Centric; Not Security Exclusive” built ThreatNG. Everything constructed within the platform is rooted in a security use case and applies to all business areas: Technical, Strategic, Operational, and Financial.
Using open source intelligence (OSINT) methodology and techniques, ThreatNG has pioneered the cooperative development of the “OSINT Top 10 Threat Arenas”. The “OSINT Top 10” highlights crucial areas an organization should monitor, address, and secure. To continuously stay up-to-date with the latest data points, tools, exposures, and methodologies, ThreatNG has DarcSight Labs.
DarcSight Labs stands for “Data Aggregation Reconnaissance Crew for Secure Information Gathering of Holistic Threats” and is the research and development arm of ThreatNG. Its ongoing mission is to develop techniques to gather, monitor, and assess all information, creating solutions to protect and empower our customers.
As a team, we have much experience in securing organizations and building solutions. The use cases, solution components, and modules that provide the foundation for the ThreatNG platform have helped organizations in the past and continue to do so today. This real-world experience and hands-on expertise provide the foundation upon which ThreatNG continually builds solutions to manage existing, future, and unforeseen digital threats.
